Your first stop on our website is the Franchise Match Introduction Form. This is what you'll use to introduce yourself, and your interest in franchising so we can begin the conversation. You'll provide us with your contact information, location, industries or specific franchises of interest, and a little information about your financial position, veteran status, and time frame. We'll discuss all of this information in more depth during the next step, the Discovery Call.
Our process will begin with a 15-minute or so discovery call during which you'll learn about Quantum Franchise Group, and we'll learn about you. We'll discover what industries you're interested in, what your current financial position is, how much you're comfortable investing in a business, your long-term goals, and your time frame for moving forward once we help you find the perfect franchise for you and your family.
After we've had our Discovery Call we're going to invite you to complete our Entrepreneurial Assessment which will provide us with important information to assist with our research. It will take you about ten minutes to answer about 30 questions. This isn't a test and there aren't any right or wrong answers. It's a tool that combines seven sciences to help us determine the best fit for you.
Using the information from our Discovery Call and the Entrepreneurial Assessment, we'll go to work curating our inventory of over 800 brands down to a list of 8 to 10 which we'll review together during a 1 hour Zoom meeting. We'll provide a high-level overview of each brand including investment and R.O.I. potential. We'll finish by prioritizing up to 3 brands you're most interested in and introduce you to the company to begin your due-diligence.
Your introduction to a franchise begins a series of steps that we'll explain below. And our role in the process changes from research and qualifying to coaching and advocacy. We're here to guide you every step of the way through the process, making sure everything is happening exactly the way you need to help you make the best decision. We'll have a 15-minute strategy call each week to discuss progress, address any concerns, and prepare you for each next step.
As you proceed through the due-diligence phase with the franchises we introduce you to, you're likely going to need the assistance of a franchise attorney and funding expert. With both professionals, it's important to choose people who work specifically in the franchising space as they have the expertise to best advise you. We have franchise attorneys and franchise funding experts on our team ready to have a free consultation with you to determine your needs and how they can assist.
After you've been introduced to a franchise, you'll proceed through a series of steps designed to ensure that the franchise is the best fit for you, and you are the best fit for the franchise. Below is an outline of the typical process. We'll prepare you for each step and guide you through the process to ensure you are selected and awarded your franchise.
Very soon after introduction the franchise will reach out to you to schedule a brief introductory call to learn about each other, answer your questions, and discuss their process.
Every franchise is required to provide each candidate with a lengthy legal document called the Franchise Disclosure Document. They'll send it to you to review, and then schedule an FDD Review Call to discuss the document and answer your questions.
This will be a call to discuss your territory and work together to build a pro-forma Profit & Loss Estimate to help you get clarity about the revenue and profitability potential.
You'll be provided with the names and contact information for current franchise owners in the system and encouraged, sometimes even required, to have candid conversations with those owners about their experience with the franchise and their financial performance.
At this stage in the process you'll be invited to an Executive Call, sometimes referred to as a Founder's Call. Either by phone or Zoom, you'll meet with the founder, or a senior executive with the company to further ensure you and the franchise are a great fit for each other.
As you reach the end of the process, you'll be invited to attend Discovery Day, sometimes referred to as Confirmation Day. This is usually done in person at the company headquarters. You'll meet the office staff, get a behind-the-scenes look at the company, and prepare to make your final decision.
If everything goes well at Discovery Day, you'll receive notification from the franchise that you've officially been awarded your territory. You'll be given a timeframe for accepting the award, signing your Franchise Agreement, and submitting your funds.
You've made it! You've been awarded your franchise and will be scheduled to attend initial training and begin preparing for your grand opening.
